Allowing your pet to stay home, is far less stressful than boarding, or even being taken along on a vacation. Taking a beloved pet to a pet resort may eliminate some of he owner's guilt, however, I have worked in an upscaled boarding facility and saw firsthand that the cats and dogs didn't care how nice the surroundings where. I would see stress manifest itself in loss of appetite, upset stomachs, barking, panting, licking, etc. It is not unusual to have a large veterinarian bill associated with boarding, either during or after the fact. I have also travel with my English Bulldog, Conrad. He refused to eliminate for the first few days of our trip. After discussing this with friends who have traveled with their pets, I found that this is not unusual.
Staying at home and keeping a familiar routine is best option for your pet. This is where I come in. I make a point to visit with you and your pet several times before you need my services. I am a welcome and familiar sight to your pet by the time I arrive to take over for you. I have yet to meet a cat or dog that I couldn't win over.
I am very flexible and will customize my services to fit your pet's needs. I can drop by to feed, visit, and take you dog out for a walk. I can stay over night and do drop ins during the day, or I can stay around the clock. I clean up after myself and your pet. I will take in mail and newspapers, and take out the trash. I can give your pets medication, if needed.
My background includes dog training, managing the doggie daycare at The Palms Pet Resort, and volunteering at the Bexar County Humane Society. I have experience with many different breeds, temperaments, and ages. You will find me to be dependable and honest. References are available upon request.
