My goal is to strengthen the bond between families and their dogs by offering simple and easy to use training techniques to address the most common issues faced by families and their pets.

Dogs need mental stimulation just as they need physical exercise. Positive, reward based training fills this need in a way that is fun for both the dog and it's owner. Training does not need to be yet another chore to add to our already over taxed lives. It can be easily incorporated into our everyday routines. The rewards are tremendous for all concerned. Most dogs have a life expectancy of 10-15 years, yet many end up in a shelter before their first birthday.

Basic obedience gives dog owners the skills to prevent or change unwanted behaviors that cause many owners to become overwhelmed and give up on their dogs.
In addition, training strengthens the bond between owners and their pets. Basic Obedience lays the foundation for all of the canine sports, such as agility, rally, flyball, and tracking.
It is never too soon or too late to train your dog.

What I teach...

Basic Obedience, a 4 week package for $200.00 I offer in-home training.

I come to your home and teach you, the owner, to train and practice behaviors such as sit, down, stay, come, and loose leash walking.

We can include skills for housebreaking, crate training, and dealing with problem behaviors such as jumping on people, digging, chewing, and barking. Together we can identify situations that may cause stress or anxiety for your dog.

Advanced Obedience, $50.00 per lesson I can help you prepare your dog for the Canine Good Citizen award. You can find out the requirements for the CGC by visiting akc.org.
